Terms and refund policy

These terms apply to software development and consulting services provided by Yhap Development. Each project also has a written quote; if the quote and these terms differ, the quote applies.
Services and quotes
Yhap Development provides custom software development and technical consulting. Before work starts, you receive a written quote describing what will be built, the fixed price and the expected timeline. Quotes are free and valid for 30 days.
Payment
- A deposit of 50% of the quoted price is due before work begins.
- The remaining balance is due when the finished work is delivered.
- Payments are made by card or bank payment through invoices processed by Stripe. Yhap Development never sees or stores your full card details.
- Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and only billed with your written approval.
Refunds and cancellations
- Before work starts: if you cancel before any work has begun, your deposit is refunded in full.
- During the project: if you cancel after work has begun, you receive a refund of any amount paid beyond the value of work completed so far, based on the milestones in your quote. You receive everything completed up to that point.
- After delivery: payments for delivered work are non-refundable. Instead, any bug in the delivered work reported within 30 days of delivery is fixed at no charge.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Ownership
Once the project is paid in full, you own the custom code written for your project. Yhap Development may reuse general-purpose techniques and tools that aren’t specific to your business, and may list the project in a portfolio unless you ask otherwise.
Confidentiality
Business information you share during a project is kept confidential and used only to deliver the work.
Limitation of liability
The total liability of Yhap Development for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.
